Annotated on the cardboard on the back 'Retouche à l'Huile'.
Additional writing on the back but hard to decipher, 
possibly reads 'Monsieur Pauloriski'.
It is possible that this was painted in Méréville around 1902-1903
since this painting is comparative to Luce's Méréville, le troupeau de moutons
painting.
